god why is moving so much fucking WORK

#took about 5 million bags full of clothes and linens and other random shit to goodwill #thanks to a friend who has a bigass old car that we filled the trunk and backseat of #my desk is getting picked up in half an hour or so #as is my monitor #my shelves are getting picked up tomorrow #as is my desk chair #and my cousin is reclaiming her chair tomorrow evening #and my friends who i am dumping a load of stuff onto are also coming tomorrow evening #and then it's just the dining chairs and the shitty table #and the side tables and stuff #and the bed is going on Friday (which is the day i move out thank god)#i've packed my two suitcases #and am having to get more and more rutheless about ditching stuff #ack argh eek #and my internet got cut a day earlier than i expected #but now i'm using my neighbors' internet #since i couldn't communicate with anyone!!!#bc my apartment gets no cell reception!!!#phew #excited to go sad to leave and fucking DONE with the moving process

I forgot my drawing monitor's cord back home when I left to mom's. Luckily, my friend from USA had send me her old Wacom Bamboo tablet to mom's address some years ago so I was able to draw a little and guys.

Guys.

I love drawing tablet so much more than the monitor. I have had the monitor for many years now but somehow it just doesn't capture the right line vibe for me. My settings are the same but Bamboo does lines softer, rounder, heavier where as the monitor is refined, thin and calculated.

I think I'm going to go back to the Bamboo because while I have been happy with my art, I feel a proper, deep satisfied joy when I look at my art done with the humble Bamboo from 2007.

Perhaps you will spot a difference, too, when I get next the DHD update online.

#idk how I can draw with it at home when only options are to sit on the floor or on the sofa #and I changed to monitor years ago because I couldn't sit on the floor anymore #a desk and a chair will not fit my tiny apartment #and even if they did fit all tables are meant for much taller people than I am #so if I sit feet comfortably on the ground I can't reach the desk comfortably and it hurts #if I sit so that I reach the table my legs will dangle over the chair's edge and that hurts #adjustable chair and desk would a be dream but that's outside my financial chances #when I am rich and famous I will order a desk and a chair from children's section or from Japan where I'm normal height #niu's life

I just wanna ramble about the Team Torque episode all in one post so thoughts below the cut for people who wanna listen to the chaos on their own. Would recommend- I'll say that up here cause it was such a fun mess 😭

Okay just some of my fav things or things I wanna touch on:

Alex just constantly teasing/dunking on Oscar 😭😭 He really is just giving off older brother vibes with all of these new young drivers

I think technically Alex is gen z... or he's right at the cut off with what year he was born... but he has never seemed more out of touch/lost then we you smash him next to those two chaotic gen z babies. Not in a bad way- he was just giving me suffering millennial vibes for half of that thing and making me laugh

Logan and Oscar are both so lame 😭 like them just being like 'idk we sat in our rooms,' they didn't have any answers to the questions- they are ridiculous! Do they just both power down after the race weekend and then just reactivate when it's time to get on the plane?? I love them dearly.

Touching back on the room thing... Alex insinuating they're staying in the same room, sleeping together........ ALEX PLEASE.

All the drivers stuck in the same hotel?? Chaos. One of you leak the footage. I know something crazy is happening somewhere.

Logan and Alex talking about golfing and teasing Oscar about not playing, heehee

Oscar just being exasperated and asking if this is how these always go 😭 Williams I need you to drop the cut footage, I'll watch it all trust.

How does this man sit

Gem kindly pointed out that Ethos chair doesn't fit under his desk. His desk also doesn't seem like a desk that can move up and down, it seems like normal desk hight.

So how does this man sit for his desk to be at shoulder height

I've drew my guess on how he does it, be aware I have no knowledge in drawing or anatomy

Because this chair doesn't fit he would need to lean back to have any back support. If we assume he's the standard height of a human he would need to scoot down to the edge of his chair to have his elbows comfortably on his desk

And some of you made fun about Cleos back, this can't be healthy.
